Phrases (and sometimes graphics) that are used frequently can be stored in order for them to be added quickly to a document. The required text is given a name for identity, which then can be called up at any time. This is called AutoText.
To create AutoText…
Select the text that is to be used to create AutoText (Red Gecko Tutorials)
Select Insert | AutoText | New to view the Create AutoText dialogue box…

You can name the AutoText entry as you wish e.g. if the entry is a few lines long, you can give it a shorter name. Click OK to create the AutoText.
Inserting AutoText
Position the cursor where you wish to enter the AutoText, then select Insert | AutoText | AutoText …

Once you have selected the Phrase you would like to insert (Red Gecko Tutorials), click Insert to place the AutoText into the document
You may need to add spaces if necessary.Alternatively…Start by typing in the first few letters of the AutoText you created (Red Gecko Tutorials in the example below)…

Notice a white box appear; press <Enter> to complete the entry, or alternatively complete typing in the word to bypass the AutoText feature.AutoComplete
There are a few words which can be inserted automatically such the months or days of the week. Start by typing, e.g. January, and when the white box appears press <Enter> to complete the entry. This is the AutoComplete feature.
